The electronic service provided by the Government on Youth.gov.hk is provided on an “AS IS" and “AS AVAILABLE" basis and the Government will not have any responsibility for the timeliness, deletion or failure to store any user communications or personalisation settings.

The Government disclaims all warranties, conditions and other terms of any kind, whether express or implied including but not limited to any implied term of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and terms and conditions as to the provision of electronic service provided by the Government on Youth.gov.hk to a standard of reasonable care and skill or as to non-infringement of any intellectual property right.

The Government makes no warranty or representation that (i) the electronic service provided by the Government on Youth.gov.hk will meet the user's requirements, (ii) the electronic service provided by the Government on Youth.gov.hk wilI be timely, uninterrupted, secure, or error- free , (iii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the electronic service provided by the Government on Youth.gov.hk will be accurate and reliable, (iv) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained through the electronic service provided by the Government on Youth.gov.hk will meet expectations of users, and (v) any errors in the communication tools and software will be corrected.

Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the electronic service provided by the Government on Youth.gov.hk is done at the user's own discretion and risk and that the user will be solely responsible for any damage to his/her computer system or loss of data that results from or is related to the download of any such material or the process of downloading any such material.

No advice or information obtained by a user through or from the electronic service provided by the Government on Youth.gov.hk shall create any warranty or other obligation, express, implied or inferred on the part of the Government.

To facilitate access by users to information provided by or via other parties, Youth.gov.hk may provide or assist in providing links to external websites through its pages. Provision of, or assistance in providing, these links gives rise to no statement, representation or warranty, express or implied, that the Government agrees or does not disagree with the contents of any such external sites and the Government will not have or accept any liability, obligation or responsibility whatsoever for any loss, destruction or damage (including without limitation consequential loss, destruction or damage) however arising from or in respect of any use or misuse of or reliance on the contents of any such external websites delivered on or via Youth.gov.hk.

The Government uses an online translation software to translate the Traditional Chinese version of its pages into Simplified Chinese version on Youth.gov.hk. If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between these two versions, the Traditional Chinese version shall prevail. The Government will not have or accept any liability, obligation or responsibility whatsoever for any loss, destruction or damage (including without limitation consequential loss, destruction or damage) however arising from or in respect of any use or misuse of or reliance on the Traditional Chinese version or the translated Simplified Chinese version delivered on Youth.gov.hk.

This Disclaimer has been translated into Chinese. If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the English version and the Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.

By using Youth.gov.hk, you agree to accept unconditionally the terms of this Disclaimer and as they may be revised and/or amended from time to time by the Government without prior notice to you. Please check this page regularly for any revisions and/or amendments which may be made.
